The Ones Who Saved The Future is the fifth episode of Ghostbusters. It was the last part of a five part storyline to introduce the show and most of the main chracters in the show.

Plot[]

They begin off the episode still trapped as lava is all around them. However, Unga comes to save the day, and they get their backpacks back.

Trivia[]

  • In a scene deleted from the final shooting script, the Ghostbusters thank Unga for saving them and congratulate him on inventing the bicycle. Unga replies to them in grunts that he just thought of a new invention to work on: the motorcycle.
  • The original script for this episode also includes the very first moral segment for the show, presented by Skelevision and Belfry, which was about telling people you love that you do so.
