|The Dummy's Revenge|
|Episode Number Dvd||06|
|Date First Aired||10/11/1975|
The Dummy's Revenge was an episode of The Ghost Busters.
The Phantom of Vaudeville mistakes the Ghost Busters as three performers who ruined his career.
"The Phantom of Vaudeville" appears to be a takeoff of Gaston Leroux's The Phantom of the Opera by way of Edgar Bergen and his ventriloquist's dummy, Charlie McCarthy.
This is the first time the Dematerializer has (initially) failed to get rid of a ghost; this is due to the fact that the only way to get rid of a Phantom is to unmask him (!).
