The Scottish Castle was where the original Ghostbusters, Jake Kong and Eddie Spenser defeated Slort, King of Trolls in 1946 and locked him in an urn behind a brick wall.

The castle moat was protected by alligators, even though Scotland is much too cold for that kind of animal to survive.
